An investigation into the shadow, ephemera and the temporal nature of light and form.

These drawings were made tracing the path of my own changing shadow as it moved while I traced it. The drawings were a tool for recording fragile and fleeting moments in time. As the figures appear distorted and changing, they react to the moving light, marking the moving of time. Some of these works were translated to resin sculptures made out of epoxy and yarn. The culmination of this project was a site specific installation referencing the children's story Peter Pan. Two cast feet were installed on the wall of the gallery and the silhouette of its shadow was tied to its feet so the physical body might not loose its shadow as it transitioned to a new form. These works were installed at Untitled Gallery in Barcelona, Spain.
